Discovery Club and Wed. Mom's Meet Cancelled June 25, 2008

The Discovery Club and Wed. Mom's Meet will not meet tonight.  We will meet in two weeks at the next scheduled Wed.  Please check the calendar, or call the church office for more information.

Summer Worship Hours

Our Summer worship hours will continue through Labor Day! 

  • Traditional Worship begins at 8:30am
  • Summer Sunday School begins at 9:45am
  • Emergent Worship begins at 10:00am

Join us any time you can this summer!  ALL ARE WELCOME!

Outdoor Worship and 2nd Annual Pet Blessings

Come to enjoy worship outside in God's landscape.  Join us Aug. 17 under the big tent for a praise service alive with the natural wonder of God.  Also, bring your pets (or pictures of pets) to be blessed during this vibrant service.  Dogs, cats, pigs, birds, and most other manor of animals can participate at this event (Please bring proper leash controls and clean-up baggies)

Vacation Bible School Blast-Off

Come and sign up to Blast-Off in this year's Vacation Bible School.  Cosmic City begins July 7-11 from 6:00pm-8:30pm for ages 3-6th grade.  All youth and adults are invited to participate.  Please contact the church office for more information and registration forms.

Box Tops for Education Summer Collection

Don't forget to clip and save your Box Tops for Education coupons, available on hundreds of foods and products.  All collected Box Tops will be given to the children at Garfield School in Elgin, IL.

July Food Pantry Needs-Juice and Powdered Drinks

The Epworth Food Pantry Collection happens the first Sunday of each month.  Bring in your food pantry donations and drop them by the Missions information center before each service. 

Fourth of July Parade with VBS

The 4th parade is a fixture in Elgin.  Come get involved!  Vacation Bible School will create a float and walk in the parade at 9am on Friday, July 4.  All are welcome to walk along.  Please contact the church office for more information on meeting and parking for the event.
