Due to a fire on June 6th, twenty-nine people here on Elgin's west side were displaced from their homes.  Ten people from two families have been identified by Riverwoods Christian Center as being in dire need, having lost ALL of their belongings in the blaze.

Epworth is collecting items to help these two families, donations can be dropped off until August 8th.

Two twin box springs, Bedding – blankets, sheet sets , pillows, etc., Curtains and blinds, Furniture (sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman, end Tables, coffee table), Microwave, Toaster oven, Cleaning supplies, trash cans, etc.,  Pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plates, T.V. and DVD player, Computer/computer table, Age appropriate toys, Bicycles, Stackable washer and dryer; iron & ironing board, Gas cards and restaurant/grocery gift cards, Bathroom towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, shower curtain, blow dryer.

CONNECTIONS family worship is moving to the 2nd Saturday night of each month.  This exciting, non-traditional worship is perfect for families of all shapes and sizes.  No longer will the kids be bored in church.

The Epworth Food Pantry Collection happens the first Sunday of each month.  Bring in your food pantry donations and drop them by the Missions information center before each service.
