Epworth UMC offers many ways to get involved in music and worship.  Contact Josh Jones at office@epworthumcelgin.org for more information on how to get involved:

Adult Choir-
We invite any adult who enjoys singing and making music to the Lord to join.  Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm, and presents at the Sunday 8:30am service.

Beacon Praise Band-
We invite any mature youth and adults with musical gifts to lead our 11:00am service with joyful, contemporary music.  This team rehearses Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm.

Sound Team-
Members of our sound team serve on an alternating basis operating and maintaining our sound board.  Volunteers must have some technical knowledge, a good ear and a God-given interest.

Seasonal Theater Productions-
These programs are for the Christmas and spring seasons and incorporate music and theater.  They are performed for the congregation as well as the community.  All children are invited to perform and adults are invited to help.

Alleluia & Youth Choir-
These two separate choirs both practice Wednesday Night as part of our Family Service Night.  Ages 3-6th grade practice at 5:30pm and jr. and high school practice at 6:00pm.  Free-will dinner is offered to encourage families to get involved in these wonderful opportunities to grow spirituality and community in kids.  Choirs practice Sept.-May.

Youth Mosaic Praise Band-
This combination Youth and Music ministry is open to all Jr. High  and High School musicians and singers. Mosaic Praise Band perform contemporary worship songs during the emergent service on the second Sunday of each month.  Interested youth should contact the church office for more information and practice schedules.
