Christian Education at Epworth UMC
 

The Education Ministry at Epworth United Methodist Church is dedicated to bringing spiritual learning and direction to members and visitors of all ages.  Educational opportunities at Epworth are numerous including classes and groups for men, women and children.  Multi-generational bible groups meet Sundays and beyond. 

The Education Ministry moves beyond a traditional Sunday School structure, incorporating active learning techniques, service projects, and passionate teachers to impart God's infinite love to every heart and mind, young and old.

Sunday School

Children's Sunday School Classes meet year round for ages 3-18.  Sunday School begins at 9:45am and Spanish Language groups meet at 1:30pm.    Classroom activities begin at 9:45am in the lower level classrooms.  

Youth classes are a hands-on opportunity for kids to learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Christian education offers kids confidence, love, exploration and adventure through guided, nurturning relationships.  Christian education at Epworth UMC is provided for every child, for every child is a Child of God's.

Adult Classes are offered September to May. Sunday Adult Classes begin Sept. 11, 2011 and start at 9:45am.  Those interested can enter the Community Room at the end of Traditional Worship to grab and snack and coffee before classes begin.

Topics include Current Events Bible Study, Young Adults, Women Under Spiritual Construction and Men of Faith.
